How to reach the Coordination Unit
 

The Coordination Unit of the GBIF National Node in Spain is located in the research building of the Royal Botanic Garden of Madrid (Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid). The entrance is situated in Claudio Moyano street, just opposite the Fallen Angel entrance of Retiro's Garden (see map). Be careful: DO NOT use the Botanic Garden exposition main gate, located in Murillo's Square, in front of Prado's Museum main gate.

Línea 1: Plaza de Castilla - Congosto. The closest stops are "Atocha" and "Atocha Renfe". You can download a map of the complete underground net here (PDF format- 1,42 Mb).

The high speed train (AVE) station is 500 meters far from the Coordination Unit of The Spanish GBIF Node. The simplest way to reach the Spanish GBIF Node from Atocha train station is by foot (you can click here to see the way in Google Maps).

  • Take the bus 203 at the T4 Airport until Atocha Train Station (45 minutes, 5 stops)
