There is a new section in the communications portal of GBIF Spain, related with data provision to the GBIF network: Sensitive Data. In the biodiversity informatics realm, sensible data are those whose publication would be problematic if shared unprotected: localization of endangered or commercially valuable species, etc.
This section also gathers information about applicable legislation related to species protection at various levels (European, Spanish y Regional).
