Description

It is a botanical garden and arboretum of 6.5 hectares, which is part of the “Agricultural Science and Technology Park of Lleida”. It is managed by the University of Lleida and the Lleida City Council and is located in the city of Lleida in Catalonia (Spain).

Goals

The main purpose of the Arboretum is scientific: a search and analysis space for research groups, teachers and pedagogists who can study phytosanitary, soil, genetics, plant taxonomy, urban landscaping or irrigation issues. It also has an informative and pedagogical aspect, aimed at schools and institutes, and a tourist one. Accessible itineraries have been designed for blind people and people with reduced mobility.
